Peer To Peer Intrusion Detection Systems
SIPPER: Security Information Peer to Peer Exchange Research
|
The SIPPER system provides an infrastructure for collaborative
security. It is a full-featured system that enables a layered
approach to P2P networking with a special aim towards sharing
security information (intrusion detection alerts, worm signatures,
etc.). Different layers of the P2P infrastructure enable various
distribution and filtering strategies.
The project developer mailing list is located at:
http://lists.cs.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/p2pid-dev. The
project is closely related to the
Worminator
project and the DNAD study.
